On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the athletics club Spark will organize the Kraanvogelloop for the fourth time, covering a distance of 10 miles (16.1 km). The course is certified by the Athletics Union and offers a well-organized run through a surprisingly beautiful part of Spijkenisse, over the bridge 'De Kraanvogel' and along the Oude Maas and the Wolvenpolder. The start and finish will take place at Spark's athletics track, with a start time of 10:00 AM and a time limit of 2 hours. Registration is possible until January 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM, and there will be no registration on the day itself.
Highlights
- The Crane Bird Run offers a well-organized race through a surprisingly beautiful part of Spijkenisse.
